A seed starting calendar takes the guesswork out of gardening. Instead of trying to remember when to plant what, you can check the calendar each month and know exactly what to do. The busiest months are typically March through May for spring planting and July through August for fall crops. Even in winter, you can start onions and peppers indoors under a simple grow light. The key to success is consistency — check your calendar at the start of each month, buy seeds ahead of time, and do a little each week rather than trying to do everything at once.
